Shooting On Lynn Drive, Cornelius

 Nov. 27. There was a shooting on Lynn Lane Saturday afternoon, resulting in the death of one person.

Cornelius Police did not release the name of the victim, a male, but they said it does not appear to be a random shooting. No arrests have been made.

What we know 

Police responded to 18007 Lynn Drive at about 2:40 pm in reference to a shooting.

When officers arrived at the single-family home, they located a subject who was pronounced dead at the scene. Lynn Lane is off Bailey Road near the sharp turn.

The case is still an active investigation.
